Danse Marc Charlebois now offers yoga classes for children and teenagers. During this class we combine classic exercises and meditation, guided by a professional instructor. All exercises can be adapted to each individual’s needs, no matter the level of each person. In today’s world children and teenagers have to deal with many challenges in and outside school, such as competition, conflict between peers, self-esteem issues and getting good grades. This yoga class is an ideal moment for especially this age group because we offer a moment of peace in a positive, supportive and non-competitive environment.
Over the course of the year, all participants in class will gain many physical and emotional benefits. Yoga is said to relieve stress, improve posture, improve sleep and make the body stronger and more flexible. Additionally, yoga is an excellent way to gain confidence and self-esteem, and to connect with others in a positive way. For this class no previous experience is required. All levels, body types, backgrounds and genders are encouraged to join.
